Rich Menus

13 Mar 2012

Tribiq CMS 6 enables you to add descriptive text and images to menu entries to create rich menu system.

In our upcoming release we have changed the format of download links and RSS links to make them more friendly and human-readable.

With Tribiq CMS 6.0.3, you can maintain a single installation of your software while using it to run multiple client websites.

From Tribiq CMS 6.0.2, the cache killer string generation has been improved and now uses a checksum made up of the last-modification dates of any Skin CSS file.

From Tribiq CMS 6.0.2, you will be able to publish multiple Content Items at once from Storekeeper.

From version 6, Tribiq CMS will be distributed under the BSD license.

In Tribiq 6, we have renamed Plugins to Modules. The word Module refers to the software package that is installed within the CMS. The word Plugin refers to a configuration of the Module's front-end.

Signals can be used to simplify the coding of recursive database deletions across multiple tables.

The main content editor in Tribiq CMS is provided by TinyMCE and features two dropdowns for defining Style and Font Size. In Tribiq 6 you can now modify the definition of the Styles and Font Sizes in the dropdowns.

The Admin Toolbar in Tribiq CMS 6 has been redeveloped in TUIX to make it more intuitive for administrators to use and easier for developers to modify.

From Tribiq CMS 6, the links generated by the CMS to public downloadable files will have a constant URL. This is good news for SEO because if the download links are spidered, the documents will remain accessible from the spidered link as long as the associated Document content item remains published.

Since version 5.2.7, Tribiq CMS has included support for browser targeting and JavaScript detection in the form of CSS classes in the <body> tag.
