System Requirements

Operating systems

• Linux
• Macintosh: Mac OS X
• Un*x systems: Solaris, HP-UX and FreeBSD. Other Unix-type systems should work as well.
• Win32 systems: Windows 2000 and XP. Other Win32 systems may work as well.

Required server-side software

You may wish to install onto a web server, but just to experiment with TRIBiQ CMS you can install onto a desktop machine. Either way, the machine on which you install TRIBiQ CMS must have the following:

• Apache web server*
• MySQL version 4.0 or later (4.1 recommended)
• PHP version 4.3.4+*
• GD compiled in PHP for image conversion
• zlib Compression Library (zlib is a pre-requisite for installing JPEG and libPNG)
• JPEG (already present on many PHP-enabled web servers)
• libPNG (already present on many PHP-enabled web servers)
• libCurl for downloading fresh administrative and visitor phrases
• Command Line Interface (phpCLI) for Statistics

* Other web servers such as IIS may work but we have not tested on such platforms.
