Sites with password-protected secure members' areas are easy to build and maintain in Tribiq CMS.
Tribiq CMS supports all the basic tools you need for running a members' site, including registration form, login form, lost-password reminder, a welcome message, view and edit profile, change password, and logout.
The standard registration process ensures that a new user's email address can be verified, but the process can be configured in many ways. There are additional options for convenient logins, such as remembering a returning user's username or email address, and keeping him logged in for an extended period.
Full administrative tools are built in for managing users' details. There is the usual Tribiq CMS range of administration tools: various views; quick search; filter; sort; create/edit/delete; export.
The number of extranet users is unlimited, and the tools are capable of administering in excess of 100,000 users with ease.
Administrator permissions are granular, so only the administrators who should have access to user details can be granted that access.
For large memberships, you may want to arrange your members into groups. By doing so, you can grant or deny permission to areas or individual pages of content.
Groups can overlap - a user can be in none, one or several Groups - and by doing so you can build up a permissions model that models the real world.
Our ProBusiness edition provides even more granular control, with per-user page permissions. This facilitates the creation, for example, of secure document libraries, where a customer can access his, and only his, downloads.
It supports user "impersonation", a handy way whereby an administrator can log in and see a site exactly as an authorised user sees it, but without learning the user's password.
It includes an extensible system of user characteristics - administrator-define "flags" with which users can be finely classified. These can be simple Boolean flags, value-lists, or textual. When coupled with Forms, custom data that a user enters can appear as characteristics against that user, even amalgamated, used as a search parameter, or used in management reporting, which can be achieved with just a few clicks.
Some sites require careful granting of user access only for a period of time.
For example, you may want to charge an annual fee for access to your extranet site (coupled with our eCommerce module); or you may just want to ensure your users are returning to keep your data fresh.
Our Enterprise CMS product includes Temporary Memberships, which takes care of this. Grant a membership for a fixed period of time, or even between fixed dates, and the user will have time-limited membership of a declared Group.
The CMS takes care of actions which occur shortly before the end of the membership; you can set up reminder emails to the user, and you can choose whether to deny access if he fails to renew his membership.
Our Pro edition includes all the tools you need to communicate with your membership.
You can prepare a Newsletter from a range of email templates, edit it (with HTML and embedded images) and test it.
Then send it to your members. Tribiq CMS provides a number of controls based on Group membership, Characteristic and whether a user received an earlier Newsletter - you can use these parameters to include or exclude recipients.
In conjunction with our Locations system, Tribiq CMS offers the means of relating extranet users with physical locations or named organisations.
This allows you to create custom applications, such as searchable directories, that reveal locations and people who work within each location.
You can create personalized landing pages for your users on a per-group basis.
When a member of a given group arrives at your site, you can set up automatic redirection to a page that's prepared specifically for that group.
Furthermore, you can create personalized plugin nests that accept additional parameters about a user, to provide him with personalized links or messages.
While a considerable amount can be configured in our out-of-the-box systems, our easily extensible modular architecture lets you create your own bespoke experiences for your users.
