WYSIWYG Editor Module: Displays blocks of a web page to visitors. Administrator can edit the HTML either inline in the page slot or in a floating box using a powerful editor. Assistance for creating inline hyperlinks, images and animations.

Safe preview

Authors may create and edit Content Items and preview without visitors seeing them, before publishing.

Safe locking

In-progress content is Locked against editing by another Author. The Lock can be overridden by certain Admins.

Form processing

Form Input Handler Module: Listens for a form submission from a Plugin, such as Flexible Form or a bespoke form. You can create any number of Extranet Users who have access to Private Content Items of a site.

User Login

Extranet Login Module: Users can log in using Email or Screen name, and password. Functions for Users to "remember me" and "keep me logged in" using cookies. Logout function.

Password

Extranet Password Reminder Module: User can request a reminder of password via a valid email address. Once logged in, a User can change a password.

User Sign-up

Extranet Registration Module: Users can sign-up to the CMS. The registration process can verify the User's email address. Users can be made active automatically, or manually.

User Impersonation

An Admin may easily log in using an Extranet User's account. A helpful feature for debugging, and checking what a User can see.

User profile & image

Extranet Profile Module: Users can view and edit the details held on their own profile. Fields can be controlled by an Administrator. Extranet User Image Module allows each User to set an image.

User Profile Viewer

Extranet Profile Viewer Module: Allows a User's profile (details and image) to be displayed on a page to other visitors or Users.

Sign up for Newsletters/Groups

Extranet Group Picker Module: Allows a logged-in User to choose which Groups to belong to. Can be used to select Newsletter topics. Only "Public" Groups can be opted into by Users, other Groups are reserved for Administrator control.

User Content Access Log

Allows Private Content Item access to be logged. Displays a list of each user access. Can be exported as CSV.

Temporary Memberships

Users can be granted a membership of a Group for a fixed period of time. Handles warnings by email and eventual removal of the User from the Group if not renewing.

Subscribe to a content category

Category Subscriptions Module: Users can be associated with a Category, and the CMS automatically informs the Users by email when content is published in the given Category.

User Redirector Module: Users can be redirected to a landing page according to Group membership upon login.

Country/region management

Country Manager Module: Admins can define countries, and regions or states within them in a cascading hierarchy. This data can be requested by other Modules, e.g. registration forms for which a list of countries and regions is required.

Visitor country picker

Country Picker Module: When a visitor arrives at the home page, generates a list of countries to choose from. Administrator can nominate a specific landing page for every country, and to manage this it adds a Content Item tab to the floating admin box for editing a Country.

Geo Landing Pages

Geo Landing Pages Module: Perform a GeoIP lookup of each visitor arriving at the home page. Allows you to automatically redirect visitors to a country-specific landing page.

Location data management

Location Manager Module: Administrator can manage locations of any kind, to store a name, address, contact details. Define a Google map which can be fine-tuned to accurately display the pin. A hierarchy of Business Sectors allows locations to be categorised. A scoring system allows each Location to have a 1-5 score in relation to its Business Sector(s).

Image caching

Images are stored as uploaded. When requested at a given size, the CMS resizes to the size requested and stores the image in the file system for fast access on subsequent requests.

Page caching

Where a requested web page can be cached (i.e. if it contains no personalised content) it is generated once and then stored in the file system, for fast access on subsequent requests.

Plugin caching

Where a page cannot be cached because it contains personalised content, the CMS falls back on Plugin caching. The output of all non-personalised Plugins is cached.

Database errors can be displayed on-screen or hidden; can be emailed to a system administrator.

Site migration assistance

Site Migration Assistant Module: Import URLs from one or more old sites, these are de-duped automatically. CMS then fetches title and meta data on URLs and optionally creates matching pages on the new site.

Scheduled tasks

Scheduled Task Manager: The base Module for tasks that can be scheduled to run at regular intervals, e.g. nightly, each week.

Scheduled backups

Scheduled Backup Manager: Automates CMS backups so backups can be performed regularly in an automated process.
