Performance

Image caching

Images are stored as uploaded. When requested at a given size, the CMS resizes to the size requested and stores the image in the file system for fast access on subsequent requests.

Page caching

Where a requested web page can be cached (i.e. if it contains no personalised content) it is generated once and then stored in the file system, for fast access on subsequent requests.

Plugin caching

Where a page cannot be cached because it contains personalised content, the CMS falls back on Plugin caching. The output of all non-personalised Plugins is cached.

Debugging Tools

Firebug Lite

Handy for debugging with browsers other than Firefox. Allows an Admin to put Firebug Lite on a page.

Error reports

Database errors can be displayed on-screen or hidden; can be emailed to a system administrator.

Email Debug Mode

Switch all emails generated from the server to go through a debug email account.

Administration
Administrator permissions Author, Publisher, Manager, Sysadmin permissions allow granular control over the web team.
SSL security Admins can log in using SSL for maximum security.
Site migration assistance Site Migration Assistant Module: Import URLs from one or more old sites, these are de-duped automatically. CMS then fetches title and meta data on URLs and optionally creates matching pages on the new site.
