Open Source and Commercial: Dual Licensing

Tribiq CMS is offered under two different licensing schemes: BSD and Commercial License.

Open Source BSD

Tribiq CMS is available under the BSD licence, one of the world's most popular Open Source Licenses.

Under the BSD licence, anyone is at liberty to freely use and distribute Tribiq CMS, provided they abide by the terms of the BSD licence.

You can support free software

If you would like to support Tribiq CMS, you can give credit to Tribiq by placing a hyperlink to http://tribiq.com in the footer of each template your site. This is not mandatory.

Commercial License

Our Pro, ProBusiness and Enterprise editions are available under the Tribiq Commercial License.

They are available, subject to contract, as closed-source and open source products.

A Commercial License allows you to run Tribiq CMS professional editions as follows:

• for a single website
• with any number of domain names (web addresses)
• with unlimited Administrators
• with unlimited Extranet Users
• with unlimited Content Items (pages)
• on a single IP address.

Multisite Commercial License

We recognise that many customers purchase a single license and then want to run more than one website.

We accommodate this with our Tribiq Multisite Commercial License. This allows you to run multiple sites on one server for a single license fee.

With a Tribiq Multisite Commercial License, you can run Tribiq CMS:

• for any number of websites
• unlimited Administrators
• unlimited Extranet Users
• unlimited Content Items
• on one single IP address.

Tribiq CMS can be run on systems in which the web server is separate from the database server. The CMS software and the content database may be run on different servers provided there is still only one IP address used for the webserver.

In load-balanced systems, one license must be purchased for each Apache web server IP address.
