How to create an HTML page in Storekeeper
Overview
Although the easiest way to create a HTML page is via the Menu, you can also create an HTML Page in Storekeeper.
Note than when you create an HTML Page in Storekeeper, the page won't automatically be part of the menu structure of your website. You will need to separately attach it to the menu.
How can I create a HTML Content Item in Storekeeper?
1. Login as an Admin and go to the Storekeeper.
2. Go to "Content" on the left menu. Double click the HTML Page icon.
If your website is Multi-Language, you will be presented with a choice of languages. Double-click on the language of your choice to proceed.
3. In the Actions toolbar, click the "Create a Content Item" button.
4. Fill in the necessary data of your HTML Page:
- Meta Data. You will be asked for the Title, Description and Keywords of your page.
- Settings. Type the Alias of your HTML page. i.e. 'home'.
- Template. Choose the Template and Skin to use.
5. Click the "Save" button. Your HTML Content Item will be created.
6. View your HTML page by clicking the "View Content" button on the toolbar. The HTML page will open in the parent window ready for you add content to it.
