TRIBiQ CMS Advanced Search Engine

TRIBiQ CMS includes a built-in search system. It helps you control how your pages are indexed and found, and helps your site visitors find appropriate content quickly. Many web sites rely on an external site to run their search system. This is okay, provided you don't mind your site visitors being taken to a completely different web site to see the search result, and potentially being confronted with third-party advertisments.

The TRIBiQ CMS search system indexes the title, description and keywords (meta data) contained in each item of content. It also indexes the body content of HTML and other types of content, but gives body content a lower search weighting when returning a list of search results.

For content which is not pure HTML - such as Documents, or Hyperlinks - the search system still works brilliantly. Any type of content can contain meta data, so even if it's not appropriate to put "hot" words or phrases into the content itself, you are free to put them into the item's title, description or keywords. Pro and Enterpise editions also offer a search Engine with Enhanced AJAX Technology - enabling the search feature to predict visitor request - much like the Google toolbar integrated with many modern browsers.
