Extranet for Secure Sites
TRIBiQ CMS includes an Extranet as standard, also known as a Secure Website or Password-Protected Area.
It allows you to make a section of your website private, or so that content that is reserved for the members of your Extranet.
You don't need to make any server-side modifications, TRIBiQ CMS will handle the privacy and security of your Users, Groups and Content for you.
The Extranet acts well as a private online document store, a private learning environment, or simply a private website, allowing you to manage your important files through the content management system and only allow access to certain individuals or groups.

TRIBiQ CMS allows you to create your extranet like this:

allow the secure area to be embedded in a public site; so you can have some public areas before visitors get to the secure area
give everyone their own account, then you can identify each user as the log in, you can compile statistics, you can give them personalized content (documents for example), they can view their profile (and update it), they can recover a lost password
organize users into groups: this is not always necessary (for a simple installation), but by grouping people you can easily define which groups can see what content
back it up with a full management system, so that site administrators can see and control what's going on; you can view and edit user data, and ultimately grant or withdraw access
implement the right signup policies: do you want customers signing up for free? or do you want an administrator to approve or even create every user? we can implement any policy you can specify
