What's New In TRIBiQ CMS 5.0.8
TRIBiQ CMS v5.0.8 has even more exciting features which build on an already exhaustive list of developer and authoring tools.
Take a look at what is in store ...
Workflow
Managing complicated web development across design and development teams has never been easier. Allocated tasks can be tracked, delays isolated and addressed and completed work integrated, all from within the CMS environment.
Advanced Visitor Language Support (AVLS)
AVLS allows for quick and easy replication of equivalent pages across an unlimited number of languages. This offers the multi-lingual site owner the opportunity to allow visitors to select their native language and to view the site entirely in that language.
Although the translation of the pages is still required, gone are the days of manually replicating pages for each language. AVLS is a commercially available option.
Plug-in Support
Plug-ins are an exciting step forward as they open up the feature expansion of the product to the development community. Whilst the standards of coding security and workmanship will be closely controlled, the imaginative aspect of feature designs will be thrown open to the most inventive minds around. We have started the ball rolling by offering a simple image gallery as a sample, but watch this space for an ever expanding library of plug-ins.
Administrator Menu Flexibility
The structure of the Administrators menu has been redesigned to allow for the required flexibility that Plug-in support requires. Developers can now add their own admin tabs and screens to allow administration of their plug-ins.
Language Tab On The Admin Screen
As the level of language support has grow, a Language tab has appeared on the admin menu to support the growing functionality.
Jump Feature Extended
The Jump To feature in the admin screen has been extended to allow jumps to more pages and in any language installed on the site.
Shortcut Enhancements
The layout of Shortcuts has been improved so that the page layout is maintained even if the shortcut is currently void of content.
It also suggests a skeleton framework to show just how the page will look when finished.
